Research shows that our brains aren’t equipped for this much activity. When we try to do more than even one simple task at a time, quality of work diminishes and tasks take longer to complete. When we try to do this for long periods, the result can be forgetfulness, sleeplessness, irritability and stress.

makes me wonder what the kids of these adult hypertaskers will be like —
slow and dumb? Wait – too late.
Overload = dimished quality, slowed completion :: This is old news, but I guess most of us just forget when we get caught up in the madness.
The man hurries himself can not walk with dignity. That is a fortune I got from a cookie several years ago. I have it taped to my bathroom mirror so I wont forget. I do anyway.
Here is a new one fromm the chinese: “man man lai” equivelent to saying “one step at a time”, better to do it slow than fast.
